A city similar to Cairns in one of the most northern parts of the country. It is super tropical and rarely gets below 30 degrees Celsius during the day. It is a young and vibrant city where you can explore the Australian Culture with depth. It is a city with a vibrant community of backpackers and international students. There is plenty of things to do including exploring the indigenous culture, going to bars and restaurants, seeing crocodile’s in the wilderness and many other things.
It is one of the cheapest cities to live in Australia and has access to public transport including buses. It is a smaller city and therefore very easy to navigate. It is a quiet city so if you like to relax in parks in tropical weather than this is the place for you.
It is a safe city with a wide range of things to do and see and is a common place for students to holiday or also a common place for students to depart Australia to travel to Bali, Singapore and other parts of South-East Asia.
